Jesse Andrews is overstimulate

Hi, I'm Jesse Andrews, and I'm a hacker.

Overstimulate is the center of my web presence. It is where I write about hacks I'm working on, ideas I have and host my experiments.

Before you get upset, I don't break into computers, I don't steal your credit card numbers. I build stuff. These days I mostly work on on web sites, web services, and web browsers.

I live in San Francisco where I get to hang out with other creators and attend Super Happy Dev House and similar events.

My current editor is Vim, but I'm tinkering with Emacs (for want of distel, slime, and an editor as extensible as Mozilla)

I like to code in JavaScript, but I really only know Mozilla's JavaScript, since at Flock most of our code was in JavaScript.

I've been coding on Ruby on Rails since the beginning of 2005, although frameworks like merb are starting to seem like a better ruby web development choice.

I have known C/C++, coding Tux Typing (C/SDL) and competing at ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest World Finals (C++), but I mostly use higher level languages now.
