Working on a firefox extension can be really complicated, and made worse by having to restart your browser after changes to the extension.

This may change with Extension Developer's Extension by Ted Mielczarek. It includes: Extension Builder, install.rdf Editor, Javascript Shell, Javascript Environment (with chrome priviledges), Live XUL Editor, Live HTML Editor, Toggle Debugging Prefs, Reload All Chrome.

And it works in Firefox 1.5 Beta!!!
