Selling my Sidekick II using valid markup

Mon, 24 Oct 2005 comments

I finally switched to the Blackberry, leaving behind my life as a sidekick user.

I really enjoyed the Sidekick platform, especially since it had free SSH (now they charge $10 for the app). The process of upgrading from version I to II was seamless: move your sim-card, it reinstalled all your applications, email, chat buddies, ...

Unfortunately T-Mobile really sucks in Lexington. Not only that their service people continually lied and asserted I was lying to them.

The real reason I wanted to blog about this, is that my wife listed the device on Ebay using valid HTML in her description! I explained how start and end tags work and she picked it up pretty quick. Now to teach her a few more tags and then either Rails or Django. I've always wanted to work on a web project together.
