My work on userscripts.org has been lacking, and it has caused the community harm. For that I apologize. Userscripts gets LOTS of traffic (over 3 million pages have been served in the 20 days since my post on moving static content to S3) and my focus has been mostly keeping it up.
Starting Wednesday (Dec 13th), I'll be devoting my lunch our (noon pacific time) to improving the side of userscripts people actually see. The largest improvement will be that our svn and trac for the project will be public. Hopefully this will result in the community working together on one site -- because multiple sites could confuse users -- instead of people forking the code and creating other userscript sites.
