For projects involving a lot of info-juggling or preventing a cool bookmark from falling from memory, Taboo is like having someone take dictation on what you've found on the web.
Wow! I knew within 30 seconds of installing 'Taboo' that I needed to add it to my list of must-have add-ons!
Simple idea, very well executed. I was looking forward to something like this.
Have you ever experienced Tab Bloat? This happens when you have so many tabs open that you can't even see the titles, or you have to scroll back and forth on the tab bar. It also slows down Firefox.
Now you can install Taboo and get rid of Tab Bloat forever and a day. When you want to save a tab to read later, simply click the Taboo Plus button. This makes it into a Taboo. You can then close the tab knowing that you will easily be able to get back to it.
To get back to your Taboos, click the Taboo T button. All of your saved tabs are there for you to see. You can visually find the Taboo you're looking for by looking at the thumbnails, or you can use the search box to search through the titles and URL's of the Taboos you've saved. Clicking on a saved Taboo reopens it in the same condition you saved it, including where you were on the page.
If you're done with a Taboo, you can use the delete button on it (the 'X' in the upper right-hand corner) to hide it. If you want to permanently get rid of Taboos you've deleted, you can go to the trashcan view and click the delete button again on an individual Taboo, or delete all of them at once by clicking the link at the top of the page.
