Everytime Firefox upgrades itself, I lose my Taboo icons and Web pages. In the past, I've fiddle, reinstalled Taboo, and Taboo comes back -- but not this time.
I can't afford to lose my data like this. I would ask the folks at overstimulate to provide an explanation and let us know what they are doing to maintain compatibility with Firefox updates.
If this is not a priority for overstimulate, please say so -- some of us need to move on to a reliable utility.
Sorry to be exasperated. I love Taboo but this is a pain.
Thanks,
Dave Lash

I have never had a problem with my Taboo not working with the latest Firefox. As a matter of fact I tried an Alpha 3.7 Firefox release recently and it worked fine.
One thing that solved a lot of FF idiosyncrasies for me was completely uninstalling, deleting all of my FF files in Windows, then reinstalling the latest release.
I used the FEBE extension to back up all of my extensions and settings and restored them using "Restore extensions," Restore preferences," "Restore UserChrome."
Do not simply backup your profile and restore it from one FEBE.fbu file. This will bring back all of your problems. Believe me, I only want to do this every couple of years! It's a pain.
Remember to export your Taboos to a file before uninstalling Firefox.
Also, your Taboos are located (in Windows XP) at "C:\Documents and Settings\%CurrentUser%\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[your profile folder]\taboo" in case you want to hunt around for it.
Hope this helps someone. I LOVE this extension!
