Hi,
Thanks for the terrific extension. I use it to keep track of pages I find when doing research on the web. Bookmarks are too cumbersome to use to keep track temporarily of pages. With the calendar feature, Taboo is perfect.
I do, however, have two suggestions. The first may be a question. It would be very nice to be able to take some or all links stored in taboo and write them out to a file or email them. Does the Export Taboos do this? It does not seem to be able to select a portion of the taboos, and I don't know what the data in the zip file look like. I want, for example, to get a list of all the URLs of web pages I saved in Taboo today. Right now, the only way to do this, as far as I know, is to use the calendar and then link to each page and mail it individually.
The second suggestion has to do with sync. You might take a look at the Zotero 1.5 preview. It does a nice job with syncing. Also, Unison is an open-source sync program that works very well. As an intermediate kludge, before you build synchronization into Taboo, you might just use Unison to sync Taboo export files.
